The Voice of Autism


The Emerald Coast Chapter of the Autism Society of America was formed to provide information, referrals and assistance to the growing number of families living with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). We are parent, professionals and volunteers who wish to enhance the lives of those who are living with ASD, and to raise public awareness regarding Autism.

Founded by Graige Hoover and Jennifer Steele Saunders in the spring of 2001, The Seaside Reperatory Theatre is Northwest Florida's premier professional theatre company. In seven seasons the Rep has built itself into a first-rate regional theatre, attracting some of the finest talent from around the country.

Guided by the core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility, the Y is an organization of inclusion for all ages, all incomes, and all abilities.

Individual Healing

Haven House Addiction Treatment offers treatment to women and men suffering from alcohol addiction and drug addiction. We know treatment works! Individuals who have lost hope can find treatment, recovery and hope at Haven House. Residents of Haven House receive a broad base of addiction treatment which addresses the whole person-- mind, body and emotions.

Providing Homes.... Establishing Hope

"Providing Homes and Establishing Hope" to the abused, neglected and abandoned children of our community. The Children's Neighborhood provides an emergency shelter for young children, and the group foster homes help with the severe shortage of foster homes in our community. Together we can make a difference in the life of a child.

Destin Harvest is a non-profit telephone and transportation network operating in the Florida Panhandle that picks up the donated food and takes it to the social service agencies serving the people who need it. Destin Harvest provides good food to the hungry of the Florida Panhandle.

Alaqua Animal Refuge is an independent, non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization located on Florida's Emerald Coast. We advocate the general welfare and humane treatment of animals by providing shelter, prevention of pet overpopulation and adoption services.

Shelter House, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization serving the survivors of domestic violence and their children throughout Okaloosa and Walton counties.  Our goal is to break the cycle of domestic violence by providing support, including emergency shelter to victims of domestic violence; education and advocacy; and to promote community awareness.
